This simply means, the Loop coming from the Central Office to the Crossbox (F1) or underground. The Loop from the Crossbox to their location is called the (F2) or aerial. Typically if there are Bridge Tap (splices) on the line, this can cause interruption in consistent Broadband connection. So of course asking to run a test on the Underground side was obvious and the results determined that there was indeed a Bridge Tap on the Loop.
